Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
Work Experience: 2 years in Engineering firm offering Industrial Automation & Panels Solutions
Job timing: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Reporting To: Project Manager/Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- Use specialised software to create models and drawings of products
- Research new materials and methods of development
- Organise and maintain existing engineering records
- Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team
- Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
- Understand the client requirements and provide an estimation of the project to customers by coordinating with sales people.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Electrical and Instrumentation or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in design
- In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD and EPLAN software
- Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes
- Professional work experience reviewing and analysing prototypes and product modifications
- Understanding of current cutting tool technology.
